Should animals be used for scientific experimentation?

  • I believed it was wrong until I took part in a protest...

I wholehearted believed that animal experimentation was wrong and had wondered why humans had been doing it for so long and why it was even still around. However, after taking part in my protest I realized something. This whole time, I had ignored all of the beneficial research and vital answers that were received through research. We’ve found vaccinations that cure people daily, we’ve found cures for birth deficiencies, and we’ve found loop holes around some of the biggest genetic disorders. Also, while diving deeper into research, it is understood that there are guidelines in which animals are protected and the scientists are not allowed to harm the animals aside from the slight discomfort they face. Animal experimentation is very necessary for the human race to thrive and continue on with the race of technology.

  • What if you had a disease

We can cure malaria, save people with spider venom and any disease from an animal.
I support that it should not be tested on any living thing.
I believe we should only use rats because rats carry diseases.
And we have the right over animals. So we can test on them.

  • Animals or your mom?

1 out of every three children in the U.S is born obese. Obesity leads to heart failures, diabetes, cancers, and all those diseases. Hundreds of diseases are out there with no cure and could lead to people dying! Mice are used to experiment treatments that could make diseases like Ebola extinct! Do you want your mom with cancer and maybe death? Of course not! What is it: millions of people dying or a couple mice maybe dying? Who said this treatment would always lead to death? Who said? Anything could happen and it's mainly benefical!

  • Animals should be used for scientific experimentation

Animals should be used for scientific experimentation. This is because of the fact that animals prove very valid for scientific experiment subjects. Animals are eaten by humans, and it's natural that we use them for our own gain as we are omnivores. Not experimenting on animals would be a missed shot.

  • Yes, animals should be used for scientific experimentation.

Yes, animals should be used for scientific experimentation. Using animals for scientific experimentation could be helpful in finding cures for diseases. Using people would not be practical because most people aren't desperate enough to be used as a experiment. I know that animal lovers oppose using animals for scientific experimentation, but if it could save one their family members lives would they still oppose it?

  • Animals should be used for scientific experimentation.

Animal research is an important way for scientists to make new discoveries. It is necessay for people to use animals as a source of food and for their skins and furs, and there is no reason we cannot use them in a humane way for scientific research. It can improve the lives of humans.

  • Animals should be used for scientific experimentation.

Sometimes it is necessary to use animals for scientific testing. People already use animals for food and we use other parts of their bodies for various uses. It is ethical to use aminals responsibly if it can lead to medial advances. If we can save lives or improve out quality of life, it is a good thing.

  • I think that it is a good idea for animals to be used for scientific experimentation.

I think that it is a good idea for animals to be used for
    scientific experimentation. Human beings
are more important than animals. If we
have to sacrifice the lives of a million animals to save the life of one human,
then we should do it. This should be
    common sense.

  • Animal experimentation is crucial for our world today

Morally animal testing may be wrong. But in our world to day it is critical to our progress in scientific studies. Even in the Bible it states that we have full control over animals and that He created them for us. Also if we are going to cut animal testing, we should also force all people to be vegetarians. Us, humans eat much more meat than we conduct animal testing. Therefore, if it is OK to murder animals as food it is also OK to use animals for testing.

  • Animals do not deserve this.

Just think: animals never did anything to you when they were sick, so we shouldn't do anything to them. Imagine that you are an animal: you are just enjoying your day, when, suddenly, a human comes and brings you away and starts to experiment on you; ripping out fur or feathers, giving injections into your eyes, and cutting you open. That would not be nice, but it would be really painful. You would probably die afterwards.

  • Humans are being very cruel

Animals are brought to earth the same reason we were; to live. We are taking that away from them by poisoning and very likely killing them for our gain and that's just wrong. Animals are precious. They help people when they feel bad, they teach humans how to love. We are abusing our best friends

  • All Life is Sacred

Every single living organisms have the right to live its life. Humans should stop killing animals, so they can be sure its safe to use their hair products or other stuff like that. These animals which are killed every day have a unique and sacred life which is to be lived. Therefore stop killing animals for your beneficial.

  • All life is sacred

God created all life on this Earth to be sacred, and that includes animals as well as humans. I understand the need for scientific experimentation, and choosing animals over humans to perform these experiments on for the benefit on mankind may be considered the lesser of two evils, but perhaps it would be better to look past such utilitarian concerns and focus on the right for everything to be free and at peace.

  • Animals Should Not Be Used for Scientific Experimentation

No, animals should not be used for scientific experimentation. Everything that is alive deserves to keep on living. This is an inalienable right of all creatures. As such, it is in violation of that right to place animals in experiments in which they may be killed. Therefore, animals should not be used for scientific experimentation.

  • What if you were the mice

Imagine that you are a mice, locked up in a small cage. Then suddenly, a big hand grabs you're neck and pulls you up. The pain on the neck is unbearable, you scream and shout to stop. But the giant white creature is taking no notice, it is busy doing something els. You see something like a tooth of a poisonous snake coming straight at you. It goes into you, you can see a bottle attached to the needle with purple liquid in. As quick as lightening the liquid is drained into you. Half an hour later you start to find breathing difficult. After three days you die. Even before you die, you see the white creatures testing another mice, who is you're friend. You're life is wasted. How do you feel? I know that there is sick people that needs medicine to live but what about silly make-ups and unnecessary experiments? I can agree that giving patients untested medicine is wrong but I do not get why animals are tested on beauty creams and getting killed. Humans do not need them. Animals also feel, suffer and pain. Therefore, I am strongly against using animals for unnecessary reasons.

  • Say no to animal experimentation

They test on rabbits because their commonly used to measure eye irritation. The rabbits don't deserve this they don't even harm humans. But still they test on them. This is not the life that God wanted animal to be. We should respect the wildlife as much as we can cause we might not have a world of rabbits or bunny's.

  • Say no to animal testing

Most people argue that experimenting on animals is compensated by beneficial consequences for humans. But we should abandon the utilitarian approach to this argument, the doctrine has problems: utilitarianism ignores individual rights. We cannot achieve the greater good by violating the rights of the minority. Plus movies such as Deep Blue Sea (1999) and Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2012) show how dangerous it is to tamper with nature.

  • Animals should never under any circumstances be used in either biomedical or cosmetic research for humans.

Although there has been a minimal amount of medical breakthroughs due to animal experimentation, we are able to find those same breakthroughs through animal experimentation alternatives. It's the 21st century, and animal experimentation is becoming more and more obsolete as animal experimentation is being performed. It's time that we evolve along with the 21st century and take advantage of our medial and technological capabilities. We are being selfish otherwise.
