    Australians should be more upset. This blatant disregard for the value of taxpayers money is completely disrespectful. It is one thing to expect certain perks at a certain level of employment. These perks come in official packages such as wages, benefits packages, paid days leave. Disguising these perks as professional expenses is outright theft. Those involved should be prosecuted.

    No, I do not think that they should be all that upset over this new expenses affair. They have already had so much go wrong recently that this will just pile on to a long list, and they will not care all that much that this is going on now.

    There isn't a lack of outrage in Australia in regard to the Health Services Union expenses affair. I have very many Australian friends, and each one seems even more ticked off than the last. They seem to be fed up as a whole at the present time, and more fired up by the day.
