Its still a part of history. Is it that they are too violent? No it cant be. Is 9/11 history? Wars are history too right? Al Capone is in history books too. Why can't Bonnie and Clyde be history along with those events and people? People even kids listen to music and the music they listen to have to have something explicit in it. It could be sex, violence, drugs so why can't it be something historical? Im sure some of those songs are popular and have won awards. Tupac, eminem, and even Drake rap about violent things and drugs and sex and they are popular artists who have won awards for some of those songs and are making history aswel. They might not appear in most history books but it is a part of history
Yes, Bonnie and Clyde are very valuable historical figures, and taught the nation a lesson about how much damage, terror, and fame a couple of common criminals can do. They were very dangerous people, who just loved the criminal life and being able to go around and rob from the government.
While it is true that Bonnie and Clyde were criminals and bank robbers and responsible for the deaths of people, I do believe that their photos are valuable in the history of this country and understanding our past. We do not have to condone their actions or consider them good people.
Bonnie and Clyde were unique in the annals of criminal history. Photographs of them are markers of their uniqueness. They should be preserved, shared, and studied for their insight into the criminal mind and the way that romantic liaisons can lead to criminal behaviors that might not have occurred if the two persons had never hooked up.
Bonnie and Clyde were real people that created some real history. Just because certain people don't think that its a good idea to have them be valuable history, they are a part if it one way or another. We are supposed to learn from history. There is more to the story than what they did. They had a love that transcended most relationships. I still believe it is a story to learn from.
Bonnie and Clyde memorabilia, including photographs, should be considered historical assets. They should be protected and kept in a museum. Bonnie and Clyde have been part of American pop culture, so not preserving these items will do a disservice to American historical content. These photos are important and are of great value.
