• Yes, if Brazil's tourism minister was corrupt and incapable of acting in the best interest of the position, he was right to resign.

In my opinion, Brazil's tourism minister acted appropriately if he believed that his involvement in a corruption scandal made him ineffective in his position. It is likely that with respect to the Olympic games, he oversaw a large team of competent leaders that can continue preparing and manage to host successful Olympic games.

  • Only if they needed to.

If they tourism manager was not doing a good enough job then it was time for them to retire. Any time that you can not do your job properly then you must retire. Brazil is going through quite a few problems so they could probably use somebody better skilled at cleaning up a mess.

  • yes he should have

Most assuredly so. If he was guilty than he should have resigned. And if he was not guilty than why did he resign? the whole thing stinks to high heaven. Why are all politicians crooked no matter where you are in the world, it seems like they are all the same

  • Tourism Minister Cowardice

Brazil's tourism minister is a coward. Instead of facing his mistakes and apparent fraud, he resigned in order to deny his claims. I believe this shows complete cowardice. There is no doubt that he has been receiving bribes and he believes that resigning will help protect him from the repercussions of his actions.
