  • Britain leaving the EU is like Texas leaving the United States.

Leaving will cause Britain to break up into states. One part will vote for stay then secede to join the EU. Brits leaving Europe is like Texans leaving the United States. This will also cause other member states to leave making the EU a failed dream. And also the economy will collapse.

  • A club that's not delivering it's offers

The Brussels bureaucrats want to create a united states of Europe just because they want to be like us Russia well were not were many different countries with different needs one system will not and work for all you can not have political union with out economic or in other words surrender all diversity so these politicians can see there vision of a European empire no one needs this we can trade and cooperate without the Eu the Eu is a failed dream

  • Just leave Europe

Leave nobody wants to be apart of the eu anymore. So say good bye to europe when i make the winning vote on this debate. Lol. Bye bye bye bye bye bye bye bye bye bye bye bye bye bye bye bye bye bye bye bhe bye bye bye bye

  • Costs the UK £55000000 a day

If you belive in demoracy you will understand that we should leave the eu, ever heard of Herman van rompoy, you probably havn't , he is the president of the eu, who's job is so important he is paid more than the president of the United states. Nobody elected him , nobody wants him , and yet he and his colleagues can decide from Brussels what we can and can't do in the UK, complete madness if you ask me

  • Control of our own borders.

Free movement of people-especially by poor eastern Europeans-is a strain on our infrastructure, keeps local unemployment levels high and forces down wages.

We should decide for ourselves exactly who we want and dont want coming here with no interference from the meddling EU.

The EU is a failed project now unfit for purpose.

  • Why should we stay?

The EU is costing Britain its identity and a hell of a lot of money through its trade restrictions, Then there is the fact that many countries such as Britain are being swamped with unskilled migrants from eastern Europe who will work for next to nothing or will claim off a system they have paid nothing into.

  • Loss of Sovereignty

There has been discussion for a while now, of how much it costs to be a member of the EU, in monetory terms. Figures vary from £8billion to £19Billion. Some say the indirect costs in complying with EU directives, makes that pale into insignificance and is more likely to be £150billion a year. My stance is, if we remain inside the EU, it will strip whatever sovereignty we have left, to simply become a region of Europe, with little say in how your country is run. You cannot see sovereignty, or touch it. You can only imagine it, for it belongs in the hearts and minds of the people of this land. It affects us all, in ways that no price will command, for it is priceless, just like a jewel and to give it away, will cost us more than we know.
Indeed England will no longer feature on any future maps, as it's split into Regional Assemblies(RA), with no more power than a county council. Westminster Parliament will be dissolved and the RA's, where there will be about 270 throughout the EU, will be run by a Bureau and Presidium in Brussels . The EU already has the power to make laws and change them as they see fit, any opt-outs are simply ignored, rendering Westminster and our courts impotent and useless, against foreign courts and administrations.
It is in the process of dismantling our own military to create a European Army (incl. Navy and Airforce). This will not be to our advantage to surrender our ability to defend ourselves or be able to protect our overseas territories, like The Falklands and Gibraltar.
The democratic deficit in the European parliament is a stark reminder of the way the USSR used to be, with a politburo at its head, who are unelected and are above the law. They make decisions and formulate diktats, that affect all of us, but we have no say. The elected MEP's are there just for window dressing, where the whole process of debating issues is a sham, a mockery of what it should be.
It is also seeking to harmonise taxation and fiscal policy and this will force us to give up the Pound.
Would you want our country to be stripped of all, if any ability to look after itself, to strive, to rub shoulders on the international stage, to welcome and trade with our Commonwealth friends with open arms or simply be a region of Europe?
In 1972 we were told this European treaty was a trading agreement only, but 41 years on, has shown itself for what it is, and I do not like what I see.
Would you want to be run by an organisation, that has deceit and deception at its core. Any relationship that is created around a lie is doomed to failure, in the end, and the only course of action is prefereably an amicable divorce, where we can simply be friends again only.

  • Loss of everything

Think about it. Think of all the things we have now because of the EU. Would we be able to trade as much? NO! It would make it harder for people who have to travel to different places in EU for jobs. Would people like us about our decision if we went somewhere in the EU on holiday? NO! More war? YES!

  • Prices we take for granted will rise!

At the moment things in Britain but leaving the EU would makes things much worse. There would be a few positives but many more negatives. The prices of non-British cars will rise, all cars other than Mini's and some others will cost more to be delivered here and in order for the dealerships to make profit they will raise the price. Airline prices will rise as well. About 3 million jobs could be potential axed and that would be devastating to Britain. And lastly although it is the least: less foreign footballers!!!!

  • Leaving would be social and economic suicide

The EU is the UK's main trading partner, worth more than £400bn a year, or 52% of the total trade in goods and services. Millions of jobs could be lost, airbus manufacturing could be moved to other countries such as France and Germany. The European is very strong and Britain can only benefit from being a part of it. For Britain to decide to break apart from it will only cause tension among the countries and is not needed. While the EU needs to be more representative and democratic, its laws prevent fascists from rising to power and it stops laws massively favouring employers, but it needs to be less controlling. Also, there is absolutely no guarantee that India and China will sign free trade deals with us, or America either.

  • Thing are good at the moment but they could get a lot worse if we leave.

Things like airline price and the cost of non-British cars. We should stay. The EU is the UK's main trading partner, worth more than £400bn a year, or 52% of the total trade in goods and services. Millions of jobs could be lost, airbus manufacturing could be moved to other countries such as France and Germany. We will loose shengen-Visa to holiday in France!
Also, students from the UK can go to university for FREE in Sweden, Holland and Denmark because we are EU citizens.

  • Yes, but it needs a massive overhaul

Businesses in the EU that invest in us, creating jobs, can only do so because of the European Union. While I do not believe that 3 million jobs will be lost if we left the EU, I do believe that 3 million jobs would suffer as a result. While the EU needs to be more representative and democratic, its laws prevent fascists from rising to power and it stops laws massively favouring employers, but it needs to be less controlling. Also, there is absolutely no guarantee that India and China will sign free trade deals with us, or America either.

  • No the unjon is a strong thing to be a part of

The European is very strong and Britain can only benefit from being a part of it. For Britain to decide to break apart from it will only cause tension among the countries and is not needed. Britain should be part of the union and continue its good standing with all the countries.

Buddy, I'm sorry today the Britain was NEVER part of the EU. Ireland is, not Britain. That's why the British still use the Sterling Pound (£) and the EU uses the Euro (€)
