  • Yess It should

Its time to check all others comfort as well along with their own. It is not the way of living life live and let others live. Just a second think of the people who are travelling in public transport especially in RTC. For example 4 persons in a car if 50 then 50*4 =200 mems can easily travel in 2 to 3 buses of people but see how much space in the road cars are blocking try to understand the real situation. Please someone come forward and think about us. Show some concern yar, everybody has to go to office and complete the work but ur collegue is suffering and not you but same kind of the responsibilities. Atleast ban these cars in office hours from 9 AM to 11:30 AM

  • Cars make the city centres noisy and unproductive

Seriously, you can get to the city with public transport with only one transfer. Just take the tram or ride a bike. If you are a car enthusiast live in the countryside. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

  • There is no need to drive into well connected city centres in the 21st century

Most cities are well connected by public transport, so there really shouldn't be a need to drive there. The city should be a place where pedestrians and cyclists should be able to move freely without having to navigate congested roads. It should also be a place where people can breathe clean air and not worry about the effects of traffic pollution.

  • Cars should partially be banned

Well, to me, I would rather choose the partial side since cars would be need for emergencies, whereas on the other hand they cause too much pollution. Instead we can use cars that go on electricity or hydrogen. This idea prevents and economical disaster and will help Mother Nature recover. I think we can use cars but limit on how much we use it since this will lead to destruction of habitats, diseases, polluting water which we and children drink and the extinction of animals.

  • Public transport is disgusting

It smells horible and you have a high chance of getting mugged or being abducted. You could easily just take a uber because their cars are nce and the people are very friendly. You dont need to take 1 hour to get to a place that smells when you could just be their like 55 mins early

  • Should be band from the city

There is lots of traffic and you might be stuck for about three hours and you might get sick by air pollution .It is also very noisy in the city because there is billions of cars and your ears will not hear anything for your whole life because it is very noisy

  • Yes, they should

Banning cars from the city centre seems to be an inevitable consequence, but we should not forget about those people who must be able to access these areas without restrictions. Such as pensioners, disabled people and local residents. Ssssssss ssssssss sssssss ssssss sssssss sssssss ssssssss sssssss sssssss ssssss sssss ss

  • Claim: they should ban cars in central parts of the city’s

Reason 1: bans on cars successful in Europe
as a result, Oslo plans to ban all cars from its city center by 2019.
Copenhagen, Denmark, first city test car ban. From partial ban 1962, Copenhagen quickly became shining model other cities
central thoroughfare, transformed traffic-clogged street pedestrian walkway designated bike trails, major tourist attractions Europe.
California, car once considered absolute necessity, recognized benefits traffic-free downtown zones.
Reason 2: transit systems need more government money.
Washington, D.C.'s Metro system nation's jarring example need
It has massive safety problems that cause daily delays and sometimes days of shutdowns for repairs
almost daily reports passengers beaten robbed
The system needs major injection tax dollars
Reason 3: Banning motor vehicles has made working and living in city centers much more enjoyable.
Carbon monoxide nitrous oxide vehicles let out, commuters no longer gag harmful fumes rushing work
Less traffic workers spend less time sitting cars time boosting productivity workplace
Recent studies show turning city centers traffic-free zones workers time visit downtown businesses lunch hours breaks
city residents environments, free blaring car horns nuisances, enjoyable
Counterclaim and rebuttal: But on the other hand, they would say that they should not ban cars from central city’s because auto pollution and safety risks are low but here is where there wrong. The pollution risk is high because the more air there is. The more risk of pollution.

  • They should be banned,

It's time to care about the environment, banning cars from city centres helps. Besides the environment, it increases the safety from the people in the cities because many accidents occur with cars in city centres. Banning cars also makes the city a better place to hang out and chill etc.

  • Cars should not not be able to go in city centres

Without cars then their is no good or sufficient way in and making more people walk then no tourists would come and no money made and that is why I think that cars shouldn't be banned form city centres and my final statement is that cars and taxi's are the same.

  • Seriously!!!NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!

Focusing back to our team’s case cars should not be banned from the city. Public transport cannot be relied on all the time. Cars are safer compared to public transport. Would you like to use public transport even though it may be dangerous especially for women? According to ABC news during 2015 and 2016, an average of 22% of university students were sexually harassed while travelling or return from universities on public transport. Now think about the 22% of the students who have been sexually harassed, do you think their lives are normal? No. These negative experiences on public transport, will make a difference in their life, definitely not positive! This can result in trauma or phobia to many people whom had a dream they wanted to achieve and a life to shape. Can they do that anymore? We wish they could. Their desire to use public transport is gone forever. Will you let this happen again in the future because they aren’t able to use car in the city.

  • What about the car industry?

We know that a lot of people rely on the car industry. One of you reading this response might work for the car industry. If we ban cars from city centres, the car industry will be going down hill. The results of this “downhill” action is very severe, this means that probably thousands of people will lose their jobs.

  • No it shouldn't be banned

Cars shall never be banned from cities as the banned would then violate human rights, decrease in prosperity, create political reform and diminish several cultures. In fact the ban could result in unbelievable consequences to our capitalist society. By the way government has been way too dominant for the past 40 years.

  • Its not the cars fault!!!!!!!

What you should understand is that we are using the cars to pollute the air but its not the cars fault it is our fault, we humans have to change our mindset and use our cars less that is the only problem not changing our mindset. What is so difficult in changing the mindset

  • Are you Crazy?

Cars should obviously be allowed or else the city center will not be the city center any more! People will stop going there because you will need to walk everywhere! Also it is not fair for the people who live there! If you can't have cars in the city center then if you live there you can not own one (where would you put it?) ! This means that the people that live there do not have the freedom to go where ever they want! Public transport does not take you every where so you are basically stuck there for the rest of your life!

Trucks and vans actually pollute the environment more than cars and cars look a lot better than than ugly old big trucks that block your view! Also by not letting cars there a lot more trucks and vans will come because usually going through the city center is a shorter way and no cars go there so there is not much traffic!

  • Love my car!

The planet is OK. If not banning cars will not save it. I live in a rural area. Cars are the only way to get around. They are also FUN and freedom. I can go anywhere. Anytime. And Big Brother isn't tracking me. Nothing like driving a twisty 2 lane mountain road. Need a major appliance, I jump in my big old truck and go get it. You want to live in huge cities and walk. Do it! Leave me and my kind alone! Cars mean freedom
