Should cell phones be allowed in schools across America?

  • Cellphones should be allowed

I say this because when students are given a group project , with a cellphone they are able to share information in the class with each other. For example, Students learn in many different ways they feel comfortable. Cell phones are young-person intuitive, more and more students are knowing how to use them which can lead to them using them in a school educational way.

  • Cell phones should be allowed.

Cell phones are tools that can be used for school. They are entire libraries in our pockets that can help students get information extremely quickly and extremely easily. This is information that can be used for their essays or help them get a solution to a question that even their teacher cannot answer. Sure there will always be students that will not use their cell phones wisely in class but that should not stop the other students from getting the information that they need in the classroom.

  • Phones should be allowed in school, but with limitations.

Cell phones can be a helpful learning tool in a classroom or a distraction in class. Cell phones should be allowed, but with limitations. They are useful for searching up definitions, articles, or typing up an essay. They should be allowed when a teacher says that it is okay to use it in class, but for most of the time the phone should put away and turned off. Plus parents would argue that students need it in case of an emergency when going, leaving, or even at school.

  • Cell phones should be allowed to use at school.

I think we should be allowed to use cell phones at school. Cells phones can help in almost every subject now with all the apps they can have. They have google docs for English essays, calculator for Math, Wikipedia for History, Google for Science, and Music for P.E.. Cell phones can even help you with a direct emergency for your parents. I would say a cell phone in this 21st century can overall help in almost everything.

  • Yes, I believe we should have cell phones in class.

I believe we should have cell phones in class because sometimes classes don't have enough calculators and we need to use our phones. When there are emergencies at home or at school you need to call your parents and you cant if you do not have a phone. On breaks when you cant find your friends, you need to call them or when your bored you can play games.

  • Breaks and Emergencies only!

I think phones should be allowed to be brought onto school campus on certain circumstances. One of these circumstances would be that the phones would be used during breaks, before school, in between passing periods, and after school. This would avoid in class distractions and have students focus on work and school affairs. The other circumstance would be that phones would be used for emergencies like family, medical, or urgent emergencies. Other wise phones would be turned off and put away during class hours.

  • Yes they should be allowed.

Yes they could be a distraction but they can be very useful when it comes to looking up important information for any of your classes, and come in handy when there is an emergency at school or at home with your family. Teachers even require us to use a cell phone for class.

  • Revelation 21:8 1 Corinthians 6:9 John 14:6 John 3:16

First of all, Cell phones ironically increase teens attention span because they like technology and when we can impute education into technology, its a win win for teachers and students. Students are used to use technology, so why not put it into education. Plus, some students need it to contact their parents. Tbh, it wont make a difference in peoples grades either because some choose not to do their work and some take advantage using phones to help with work using google so its a pro and a con in school. I think there it should be under some rules and regulations if we use them in school. Repent and trust in Jesus alone.

  • Say (YES) to cell phones in high school

Yes because its a good tool to use for school and to communicate with others depending were they are. It's a good tool because if you have questions you don't want to ask a friend or a teacher you can ask the Internet. - >Raphael Matthew Ruiz MPHS. Per 4

  • They should be allowed

I believe that cell phones should be allowed to be used in schools. They are used for different purposes in school. For students in extra curricular activities, they might have forgotten something at home and need to call a parent. Or they need to call a parent for a ride, and maybe the parents need to get a hold of them for some kind of emergencies. Cell phones are also needed in class to check grades or do work online when the teachers let us.

  • No for cellphones

I don't think cell phones should be allowed at school. Teenagers say its for emergencies or they use it educationally like searching information up, but i think that's BS. Cell phones are just distractions at school and are used for cheating such as copying, as they can search up answers on the internet or receive photos from their friends of the answers. I mean do get me wrong cell phones are amazing but not at school.

  • Phones should not be allowed in school

I think phone should not be in class because they are mainly a distraction to our education. Another reason why phone should not be allowed in class because they could use it as cheating in test, quiz, and homework. Also if the parents problem is calling their kids when there's a danger, they could just call the office to make sure.

  • Cell phones are becoming an addiction

I believe cell phones are becoming the biggest 21st century virus. It has become something we have been attached to strongly worse than a drug. We haven´t been able to grow to our full extent because of the phones. Banning phones would be a great leap forward.

  • No cell phones should not be allowed in school

Students would say that they need to use their phones for an academic purpose, but they will most likely use it for a distraction like social media, playing a game, or texting their friend. Students need to focus on their teachers when their teaching, but if a student is distracted their taking their education away and will distract other students. Also because when they say there cell phone help them get a better grade, they use their phone for cheating in a test which does't really help them. I know this because of my personal experience , I see this kind of events in my school. MPHS Ricardo Cordero P.3

  • No, cell phones should not be allowed in school.

Students seem to say that they are for emergencies or for an academic tool but every time they get the chance to use it they go on social media sites such as Facebook, twitter, ect. Cell phones are also really big distractions, they cut off the amount of learning a students should have throughout the day. Because students do not meet with the time of education they need their grades start dropping.

  • Cell phones shouldn't be allowed at schoos

Technology is said to be to make are life easier and that it is what it is doing so. It is causing students to cheat on test, be distracted in class, and constantly get off topic quickly. Students attention span is very limiting when a student has access to a cell phone. Also, cell phones are a part of the reason students don't have good grades.

  • Yes, it should be allowed

I think cell phones should be allowed in schools across America because not only could children use it for emergencies, but also for educational purposes as well. Cell phones are not always such a threat to education because it could be used for looking up unknown words or checking grades online. Teachers spend too much time scolding children for being on their phone's that they do not realize that they are wasting precious class time. -Leileanna G MPHS period 2

  • No, they shouldn't be allowed

Because they are very distracting. If taking them away during school hours makes our test scores better then i say take them away. If there is an emergency there are always phones in every single class room. If our parents need to contact us they could call the office and have them contact us. Or we can use our phone during break. Take them away before we enter the class so we don't even think about checking them, and give them back to us during break.
