  • Phones should stay in school

Well most parents would call the child if something happens at home what if its and emergency? Adults wont call the school they'll call the kid. Kids can use phones , calendars, timers, calculators, and other stuff. Yeah we use phones for Facebook sometimes but so many people in school have phones, what are you gonna do take them all? No, involve them in class.

  • Phones should be used in schools

Schools should let students use phones in school because it would be a fun way to learn in school. Students could use their phones in many different ways to learn in school. They could check their grades or use the dictionary app. They could also use the bible app if is a christan school.

  • Cell phones should be banned from schools.

Cellphones should be banned in school
Imagine trying to focus on the lesson being taught at the front of the classroom while the person in front of you is playing a brightly colored game. Yet, focus isn’t the only thing suffering from the cell phones in the classroom; many other critical elements of education also suffer.
Often the argument, “but it’s my calculator,” or “I need it as a dictionary,” or even, “I’m checking my grades!” is often used. But in reality phones are mainly used to stock social networking sites, text friends about both appropriate and inappropriate subjects, and surf the web for whatever is desired. Many students say that they are great at multitasking and can be on their phone and learn that the same time, but Stanford researchers studied the cognitive capabilities of media multitaskers and came to the following conclusion: “People who are regularly bombarded with several streams of electronic information do not pay attention, control their memory or switch form one job to another as well as those who prefer to complete one task at a time.” Instead of being helpful study tools, phones have become destructive devices.
Cell phones are an easy way for parents to contact their children about after school plans or in emergency situations but there are just some responsibilities that fall back on the schools. All schools have phone numbers that parents could call in order to contact their children, therefore it is no need for children to have phones on them during class. Also, it cases of emergency schools have professionally put together safety plans to ensure that children are safe.
Cell phone uses should be banned from schools, mainly during class time. They overall create a more negative, distracted learning environment than a helpful study tool. Our education is suffering because of phones, what is next?

  • Cellphones or iphones should not be banned in every schools

I believe that phones are good use for researching things that you don't know. For example, if you have science in school and the teacher says to do your notes and you have a book, a phone is easier to research hard stuff. Plus it is easier to look up words, projects, and ect.

  • Everybody's got one...

There's no reason students shouldn't have cell phones in schools and there's no reason that they shouldn't be able to use them at their leisure in between classes, as long as they do not actively disrupt class time. At this point, parents provide cell phones to their children, and they have every right to carry them on their person, especially in the event of emergency.

  • No, they are harmless.

No, cell phones should not be banned in schools, because it is practical to have them. Students need to communicate with their parents and often with their friends about their after-school plans. Often a parent with joint custody needs the child to bring their phone back and forth, because child exchanges happen at or after school.

  • They are good for emergencies

When it comes to certain levels of schools, I think they need to crack down a bit more on cell phone usage; however, I do not think they should be completely banned from school, as they are very convenient to have with you, just in case of a family emergency.

  • They Should Be Allowed

I do not think we should ban cell phones from schools. I think students and teachers need to be more responsible about their use and leave them alone. It is good to have the cell phones in case of emergency, but that doesn't mean they should be out during normal class time.

  • Cell phones should not be banned in schools

I do not believe that simply possessing a cell phone should be banned in school. Of course, there should be a policy regarding their responsible use, such as not making personal phone calls during classroom instruction for example. Our society has evolved to a point in where cell phones can be a lifeline in case of an emergency, and it would be a vital form of communication between a students and their parents.

  • Good for transportation

Kids who walk home might need their phone to communicate with their parents. Also, if a family member has a emergency, the child's parents would want to reach them. And, a kid's cell phone could be used for everyday purposes, like informing a parent if you're going to be late because your bus broke down, or something like that.
