  • Distraction and cheating

Students will use their phones to cheat so they could have better grades. Thanks to phones students will check their social media accounts in the middle of study time. That will lead to: not studying, taking the easy way, and referrals, when a teacher see a student with a phone, the teacher send the student home while the teacher have the phone.

  • It can be used as a learning tool also.

Phones are not just used for texting, games, and other things. Cell phones provide a web browser and answers for students. There are many other things kids can do with their phones. For example, if the teacher is talking and a student has a question. Instead of raising their hand for 1-10 minutes they can look up the answer. Plus, most phones have a do not disturb button where they can turn off all notifications while they are attending schools. Nowadays technology is turning into parts of students everyday lives. So I say, why not.

  • We wont be bored

Because, we will have more things to do,some of us might cheat on tests but the teachers should just take our phones before the test.It will also keep us safer because we will be able to call our mom if there is an emergency. That is why we should have phones in school

  • Phones and devices can be useful

Today, younger teachers are allowing students to look up answers to questions on Google, using their phones and tablets. I saw a video about a teacher who would tweet about a subject with a hashtag and his students would then tweet their debates about it with the same hashtag. I think, if handled properly, using digital devices can open up new vistas for students.

  • It can be useful

The argument that they are distracting are false. Firewalls and app lockers are around in great numbers. Lots of browsers can be used for greater understanding of the lessons and phones can be used for listening to music which helps students remember what they were taught, the same with bubblegum.

  • Children should not have phones in school.

Children should focus on their studies when they are in school. Phones offer too many distractions and should not be permitted in schools. Today's phones have games, instant messenger programs, and even web browsers. Phones are closer to toys than educational devices. They have no role in a classroom today.

  • No, children should not have phones in school.

There is no acceptable reason for a child to have a phone in class. If they are old enough to drive they can leave their phone in their car. If they are not old enough to drive then they have no method of transportation other than that provided by the school or their parents. This means there is absolutely no need for the child to have the phone in the first place during school time.

  • Children should not have phones in school

Children should not have phones in school because it is a major distraction and in almost all circumstances would not be necessary. If a child needs to contact a parent or guardian from the school, they can do so using a phone belonging to the school. Many children are likely to distract themselves or other classmates by using phones during class.
