I firmly believe that family holds importance over all, so that being said Chrisley should be lenient with Pamela because of their former family ties. Family is supposed to always be there for one another despite any issues in the past, present, or future. No matter what has gone on between Chrisley and Pamela they have family ties which are supposed to be stronger than anything.
I don't think that Chrisley should be lenient with Pamela because of their former family ties. Really, this depends on what kind of past that they have. Usually, I am not a fan of breaking the rules for family if they have consistently violated them. Then they turn to relatives.
She tried repeatedly to blackmail Chrisley and extort money. He asked her to stop and she kept on doing it. She apparently became involved in extortion plans with people in GA and SC. Why should he cut her any slack when she demanded money and threatened him and his family?
No, Chrisley should not be lenient with Pamela because of their former family ties. Strangers are not the only ones who can disappoint us or lack morals. Family members are human; thus, they are imperfect and can make decisions which can negatively impact those closest to them. Consequences and justice help a society function. Also, forgiveness and leniency are not the same. The very definition of leniency is being tolerant while forgiveness is defined as not holding grudges.
