Yes, I feel that Christopher Nolan would be a good candidate to direct the next James Bond. He is experienced in directing many successful action movies, such as Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and Man of Steel. He has also been nominated and won numerous awards, like Best Director in 2010 for both the Golden Globes and Academy Awards. Due to his very successful movies, and multiple awards, Christopher Nolan would be an excellent choice for directing the next James Bond movie.
I believe his talent for great storytelling and unique approach to characters would be wasted on this movie. I like the idea but Bond is not that compelling of a character and is not relatable to the audience that much. Most of his hobbies are women and drinks, i dont see the virtue in his character and good driving force other than simple anger or plain old just doing my job.
The problem with Nolan's films is that they're asexual. There's no subversive danger or excitement; he's a technician and not a very good one at that. The real success to his films is generally his collaborators, particularly co-writer Jonathan Nolan and cinematographer Wally Pfister. Christopher Nolan is the wrong choice for a James Bond film because he doesn't have the skill with action choreography and all of his films shy away from the eroticism that has made the series enduring.
