Should cigarette advertising be prohibited in stores?

  • No responses have been submitted.
  • No, it should be free choice.

No, cigarette advertising should not be prohibited in stores, because it should be up to the store to decide whether they want to advertise it or not. If a parent does not want to shop at a store that advertises cigarettes, they should have the choice whether or not to shop at the store. But the store has the right to decide what they want to do for advertising.

  • No it should not.

This is a free country and cigarettes are legal. There is no good reason to prohibit cigarette advertising in stores. They should be allowed to advertise almost anywhere. School and parks I can understand but a store is a place where people buy cigarettes. They should be allowed to advertise there.
