Should congressional sessions be extended for all time spent filibustering

Asked by: MasturDbtor
  • And without extra pay

This way filibustering can only be used for its intended purpose, to raise cogent arguments concerning the bill. If time spent filibustering is added to the Congressional session then filibustering can no longer be used to prevent a bill from passing.

This would also lead to peer pressure against excessive filibustering, because the politicians would want to go home.
