Should convicted criminals continue to be provided with free health care, food and housing?

  • Convicted criminals should continue to be provided with free health care, food and housing.

Convicted criminals should continue to be provided with free health care, food and housing. I feel this way because the justice system does make a lot of mistakes. There are a lot of convictions of innocent people in this country because of bad representation or an over ego judge slamming the gravel down. We should not take away their rights for the rest of their life. This is America after all, we are supposed to take care of each other. It used to be the Government worked for the citizens, but that has changed clearly.

  • They should work for it.

There is no such thing as a free lunch. Convicted criminals should have to work while they are in jail. I do not care if it is folding laundry, working the kitchen, or passing out books to other inmates. Inmates need to have some type of responsibility. If they do that they have earned their healthcare, food, and housing. If not, let them starve.
