Debbie Wasserman Schultz should still be the chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee. Although she has strong ties to Hillary Clinton, she has done a good job staying out of the race and letting the process play out. She is tough and smart, which is what the party needs to retain control of the White House.
There is talk of turnover within the Democratic Party, and it's not just coming from Bernie Sanders' declarations about a "political revolution." No, the source right now is whether or not Debbie Wasserman Schultz should keep her position as chair of the DNC. I think she should be kept on because if the Democratic Party is so unstable right now, the last thing they need is the upheaval of a new DNC chair.
If Debbie Wasserman Shultz is doing a good job then she should still be in her DNC chair. If she is running the party into the ground then she should be removed. The Democrats can not afford any more scandals or mishaps because this is a very detrimental election that can not be lost on a technicality.
A lot of Democrats are unhappy with the way Debbie Wasserman Schultz has run the Democratic National Committee. Many believe that as the DNC Chair, she gave preferential treatment to Hillary Clinton's campaign. Therefore, it is in the best interest of the Democratic Party for Debbie Wasserman Schultz to resign from her position as DNC Chair.
