Should democrattically decided publc hangings of undesirable ppl be a new additiom to local or state criminal justice system, as an alternative form of death penalty as well as a form of eugenics and population control

Because you never who may resemble a rapist or pedophile tv character. It will be the start or a new ivf eugenics movement, killing off those who shouldnt breed

  • 90% sure this is a troll

Trying to kill anyone who doesn't agree with you leads to complete bigotry and a very uneducated society. Galileo was judged for heresy, and Socrates was executed for his beliefs - the majority isn't always right. If they had killed everyone who believed that the Earth wasn't in the center of the universe, then we'd still be believing the wrong thing.

Trying to kill someone who merely resembles a pedophile character on a TV show is stupidity beyond bounds. A successful eugenics movement, which is already a contradictory statement, would need to be based on more realistic and meaningful values.

  • Mob rule is not ok.

The problem with democratically decided public hangings is that they result in mob rule. Think of how many unpopular minority opinions you hold. Imagine if the majority could vote to have you killed for holding those opinions. If democratically decided public hangings became a reality, this could very well happen.

Great thinkers such have Socrates have already died as a result of such mob rule systems of punishment, and if such systems were implemented nowadays, many more like him would die.
