  • The person saying they can help themselves has no idea what they're talking about.

They can't just "find their own way and make their own peace on the land they came from" seeing as they have multiple violent factions fighting on the land they came from. Is anyone really expecting unarmed, untrained civilians to try and stop ISIS and Bashar al-Assad? Those are two ultra-violent groups that will kill any and all people who get in their way, including children. How about you try and stop ISIS alone without a gun, and then let the rest of us know how that one goes.

  • The EU should take in more refuges

All the Syrian refugees that try to come in to the EU don't all get the requirments and only a very small percentage of Syrians are getting helped by the EU. A lot of them also get drowned or die on the boats so the Eu should provide more boats and safer ones for the refugees.

  • Syrian Refugees Need Help

Yes, Europe should do more for Syrian refugees. Europe has only taken in 12,000 refugees since the Syrian Civil War broke out. According to experts, that is only 0.5% of the 2.3 million people who have fled Syria. About half of these are children. When people are in need, we should not turn our backs.

  • No they should seek united nation help and follow right channel.

Rather than taking law in their own hands and suffer, they should seek legal channel for help from united Nation. Taking risk with children in a stormy sea is questionable. Secondly what is the source of money paid to smugglers around US$ 3000 per person. Do refugees have excess to such fund?? Authorities should look into all those issues.

  • No they should not have to do more. for syrian refugees.

I think every country should have to handle their own problems without other countries stepping in. It sets a bad example of a country if it can not take care of its own people and are still having rebels and violent outbursts. The Syrian refugees in my mind should be able to find their own way and make their own peace on the land they came from, even if they have to start from scratch.
