Should Felons Out of Prison but under Judicial Supervision (i.e. Parole or Probation) Regain Their Ability to Vote?

  • If they are citizens of course.

Just because you have committed a crime doesn't revoke the right to vote. Maybe that person has been saved while in prison, or will be an extremely useful person in society. It is not fair that just because someone made a mistake, you will take away their voice in electing the president of the united states.

  • No, they have bad judgment.

No, felons who are out of prison and on probation should not regain their ability to vote, because they have already shown that they do not have the good judgment to make good choices. Voting should not be in the hands of those who have shown they cannot conform to the requirements of our society.
