  • Heroin is already used medically

Heroin or diamorphine in a clinical setting is already used medically in many countries for things such as birthing of children and extreme pain after operations. In many ways heroin is similar in action to many other drugs that are used medically such as morphine and oxycodone, so why should it not be used in a controlled manner in a medical setting

  • Heroin should never be used medically.

Heroin should never be used medically. Heroin should never be used for
recreation. Heroin should never be used
by anyone at any time for any purpose whatsoever. Heroin is arguably the most addictive drug on
the face of the planet Earth. It has
also killed thousands of people who accidentally overdosed.

  • No, it should not.

With my limited knowledge on the subject I would have to say no. Heroin causes addiction, and quite a bit of health concerns. I can not imagine it being helpful in medicine or having a good lasting effect. However, if it is something that can help in the future than maybe.
