Should India have a presidential form of government?

  • Prime Minster Works So Far

    Ever since India's independence, a prime minister form of government has seemed to work just fine. The world's largest democracy has its problems with extreme poverty and crime. However, the current system is relatively stable compared to some neighboring countries where strife is commonplace. Unless India devolves into anarchy, keep the prime minister system of government.

  • No Indian Presidents

    India has a different culture from that of democratic countries. India has religious doctrines of sacrifice that is inherently different from most of the democracies that uses a president as the leader with the use of citizen voting. It’s difficult for a change of government to that of presidential elections.
