  • IT is rude

The way the designs of the mascots can be very downgrading. If you look at them they all have elongated noses and crazy eyes. They all have headdresses when really it was only Indian chiefs that were known to wear headdresses. The skin on the mascots also have red skin which is not true. Their skin is more of a copper color

  • Of course not, that would be oppressive

Some Indians would see it as a source of pride, as Indians being known for not giving up. Many people find this derogatory or offensive but it is cause for joy to some people, being known for being the toughest and roughest when it comes to survival. Not many other races or cultures can join in that celebration.
