Should it be my responsibility to remind you of something to volunteered yourself to do for me?

  • How much did you really want to help if you can't remember to follow through?

When someone comes up out of the blue and volunteers their services to help you out it should not be your responsibility to remind them to do what they set out to. You didn't ask for a favour, this person volunteered to help you out. The fact that they wanted to do something for you out of the goodness of their heart should be enough of a reminder.
