  • Yes absolutely it's

Of no value to kids ,they will learn a valuable life lesson from this practice. At least it's taking a step in the right direction in teaching them what there parents should be instilling in them .
Behaviour is learnt from contact mainly with family members so anything that can reinforce good eating habits is for the good I'm in favour off it .

  • It should be banned

Mot schools have already done so. Many junk food is referred to as fatty food which causes unnecessary weight and fat gain and is way to many calories. Though it may taste good it isn't worth it at all. It just should be banned in schools no matter what. Thank you for reading.

  • Yes hi you

Yes people should eat more healthier beaus ehi a disease in which people do not produce a chemical called insulin effectively and must limit their sugar intake, is a very harmful disease that could cause harm to you. It could even cause death. A disease in which people do not produce a chemical called insulin effectively and must limit their sugar intake, is a very harmful disease that could cause harm to you. • Yes they should

Schools should opt for healthy choices for students. There are often too many opportunities for students to pick what they want to eat when eating a hot lunch at school, and they will obviously gravitate toward the least healthy options (like a greasy pizza slice over veggies). If there are only healthy options, kids will be required to make choices that will help give them the energy they need for the rest of

  • Junk food should be banned in schools.

Junk food should be banned in schools because it is not good for children's health. Schools should be a place free of bad influences. Children should be encouraged to only eat healthy foods that will help them grow up without any illnesses. In this way, they will be well prepared for adulthood.

  • Yes, junk food should be banned in schools.

Yes, junk food should be banned in schools. There is an obesity problem amongst children in the United States. Poor eating habits develop at an early age and can lead to a life of disease. Schools should be a place where a child can get a nutritious meal, not a bunch of junk food.

  • No, I do not think junk food should be banned in schools.

No, I do not think junk food should be banned in schools. It is more important to teach kids about proper diet and what they should and should not eat, then to just completely take away options for them. Educating someone on what is right is always better than just taking away their choices.

  • No it shouldn't

I think kids have the right to eat junk food at school, they have the right to eat or drink anything thats suitable for them like chips or something, but not too much. And banning junk foods at school is kind of like the government banning foods in burger king or mcdonalds. And what if that happened to the school? The school shall manage the ban-junk-food thing properly, not micro-manage it.

  • Right to Eat Food

Students have the right to eat whatever foods they want to, even if it is junk food. Students need economical choices in schools even if they are unhealthy. Banning junk food is up to each individual school district as opposed to a national mandate. Sometimes, healthy meals for kids aren't in the budget.

  • Junk food rocks

Junk food is part of kids lifes and most adults say only eat a small amout well their right so don't ban junk food and just eat. Most kids work out so they will burn the fat off instead of sitting on a chair and just keep eating and eating
so vote junk food should not be banned

  • Junk food alowed!

It should be allowed because people have the right to choose what goes into their body. If kids eat bad food then in future its their fault. They need to learn whats right and whats wrong. Heck im gonna eat a hashbrown roll in a couple minutes! Junk food allowed!

  • Kids need to choose to eat healthy

I think kids need to make the decision to eat healthy themselves. Removing kids from an environment where there is junk food is impractical because in the real world, junk food is everywhere. If junk food is suddenly readily available to them without question when not in school, they will overindulge because they will have not exercised their judgement in CHOOSING healthy food over junk food. They will only know how to eat healthy food when it's their only option, which in the real world, it never will be.

  • Oh heck no.

I need the junk food to stay awake. This is like letting a person do cigarettes, and then letting them go cold. It won't work well. Back to the question, the food groups are there for a reason. Its not a balanced diet if there is no oils and proteins, which means its sort of impossible to survive on just fruits and stuff.

  • Kids need junk food sometimes.

2 out of 100 young children and 8 out of 100 teenagers have serious depression and if you take junk food away from children and teenagers who depend on and love it, you may be taking lives or happiness away from them. If you aren't against this, you are a terrible person who wants children and teenagers to take their own lives.

  • We should have a choice. I teaches healthy eating.

It is always nice to have a choice isn't it. How would you like to be forced to do this or only eat that. We already have enough rules and regulations. We do not need any more. Plus, kids should learn to chose the right foods to eat. If we don't give them a choice how are they going to know what foods to eat and not eat. Experiencing with different foods is helpful and promotes healthy choices and eating.

  • Not the answer

There has been junk food in schools and in cafeterias for decades without there being a huge rise in obesity in the US - why do people think that not selling these things now will curb obesity? The problem with childhood obesity is systemic and a lifestyle issue, not who sells what.
