Should kids who commit murder be given life without parole?

  • Yes,sure why not???

At a certain age ,kids should be able to held criminal responsibility like an adult.Saying that a child brain aren't fully developed ??Well, yes but when an older children from age 14-17 commit crime they have an capacity of understanding the consequence almost very similar like an adult, therefore it's necessary it.

  • No not at all

A child that does such things cannot be held in prison for life.
Children are not fully developed and cannot be held accountable for what they do.
They have little to no powers in society they should not be held accountable to the same standards adults are.
It is a pure waste to lock a child in jail over stuff like this.

  • Kids develop from their surroundings.

Adolescents develop knowledge from whats around them. Therefore the parents should be responsible for the crime because the child was learning from them. The child should be put in another environment and given a second chance at life, but should still be punished heavily because that is a serious offense.

  • No, absolutely not

Kids brains are still developing well into their early 20's they are not at their full developmental capacity, it is very harsh to punish them for the rest of their lives for a mistake they made while still developing their sense of morality.

We should be aiming to rehabilitate these kids and give them a second chance at life.
