Should Machine Guns be Legal to Produce again? In other words, remove the ban of 1986.

  • Many facts say yes!

One - You don't need a gun to kill
Two - Criminals would actually aim with a bolt action gun or semi automatic
Three - Rate of fire is rate of fire, not rate of crime.
Four - Some people just want to know what we used in the past without a $30,000 price tag!
Five - Shooting occur at schools IE places "protected" by a paper saying no guns. Just throw a few cops in with ARs and nothing would happen again.

  • Guns are safe

Guns are safe, in the right hands it can be used to protect others. The evil doers will find a way to get their hands on weapons in illegal ways. So, the more people we are able to arm, the more we can protect. Would Sandy Hooks ever have been taken place if the teachers were armed with weapons? The answer is no.

  • Yes it should

The original intention of the second amendment was for the people to be a large enough private army with sophisticated enough weapons to take down the government, or in other words: the people should have access to the same weapons as the military, and besides, if you are a criminal, and you have enough money to get a machine gun illegal as it is now, chances are you already have enough money to buy it legally, no more criminals will have machine guns than before.

  • No, they are the instruments of DEATH

Seriously, machine guns were invented for a reason: they can kill a lot of people really quickly. RustyNails says that ROF is not ROC. It is not, but when each crime is a hundred times worse, you're still having a problem. He also advocates giving cops machine guns and telling them to patrol schools, but have you looked at the police abuse stories?
