Should married people have special unequal benefits over those that are unmarried?

  • End the discrimination, rights for the single

Nobody should receive addition benefits due to a bed partner, or co-parent. If a person wants a marriage in the eyes of their religion this marriage should receive no government sanctions or benefits. It is time to take government out of our personal relationships. Every part of today's civil marriage can be accomplished with individual contracts. This would allow each person the ability to tailor legal relationship to their requirements, instead of this all or nothing form of discrimination.
