Should MDMA (Ecstasy) be used in psychotherapy?

Asked by: GDawg
  • I believe so

I believe we should bring back the use of MDMA in psychotherapy. It is an effective treatment for marriage counseling and PTSD. These are two conditions that are not addressed seriously and MDMA would be a very beneficial treatment for them. It has proven to be safe and cured PTSD in 80 percent of soldiers in just two sessions.

  • No, MDMA should never be used in psychotherapy.

MDMA has no redeeming value in society. It is unfortunate that it was ever stumbled upon. It does not help in therapy. All it does it destroy lives and kill people. This drug has no place in this world. Anyone saying that it is good for psychotherapy is a liar.
