    The media has been inside locker rooms since professional sports were created. An athlete knows that when they sign up for that lifestyle, they will constantly be surrounded by media. Even so, there are restrictions to media access in locker rooms. The media has to wait a certain amount of time before they are able to enter. So while it may seem like a free for all, there are rules.

  • Access Is Better

    The media should be allowed in locker rooms. How else could we hear a canned, clichéd response to a terrible question spoken by a professional athlete wearing a towel. The viewing public has a right to know whether the team intends to take it "one game at a time" and whether players in the locker room gave " a hundred and ten percent" during the game.
