Should members of the Black Lives Matter movement share meals with the police?

Sharing a meal is often a great way to get to know someone, and it is important that both members of BLM and police offers understand each other's points of view.

    It certainly would not hurt and might actually bring a bit of much needed healing to the nation. Both the Black Lives Matter movement and members of police forces across the nation have earned a bad reputation. An entire organization should not be judged by the actioins of a few.

    Members of the Black Lives Matter movement should definitely share meals with the police. The vast majority of the police force are in support of the movement and abhor the actions of those within their own ranks who have made almost unjustifiable mistakes and overreactions in the recent future, such unity could only help.
