Should more be done to enforce the Labor Management Relations Act (LMRA)?

  • Yes there should be

    When it comes to that of the Labor Management Relations Act or other wise known as LMRA there should be more down to enforce what this law provides to its people. There are many laws that congress does pass that are often over looked by people in the United States of America.

  • We must have free speech.

    Yes, more should be done to enforce the Labor Management Relations Act, because anymore, employees are afraid to speak because of the power of the unions. The LMRA is designed to make sure that people who are part of a union can still speak their mind in the face of union pressure.

  • Needs To Be Reconsidered

    I do not believe more needs to be done to enforce the Labor Management Relations Act (LMRA). These laws were created many decades ago and they may be causing some of the problems we have in this country. I believe these laws should be amended to better suit the current times.

  • Taft-Hartley Already Enforced

    The Labor Management Relations Act (known as the Taft-Hartley Act) already weakened the bargaining power of labor unions in 1947. The law doesn't need to be enforced as much anymore since union membership has steadily decreased since the 1970s. With new right-to-work laws on the books, union membership will continue to decline and weaken.
