Should more young people make positive impacts in their community?

  • Yes, making positive impacts builds better morals.

Young people should do more to make a positive impact in their community because, the personal impact on the youth that comes from doing positive activities, builds character and moral stability. So much of our youth today is making such bad choices and I feel that it is from not encouraging more community services. Giving a child responsibility, such as recycling, gives them something to work for, and once the task had been accomplished, they can have something to be proud of knowing that they made a difference.

  • This is always positive

Young people making positive impacts on the community by participating in big brother big sister or other such programs. The community in general needs more positive role models that are not on television or sports figures. This at home 'hero' will help people see that fame and money do not make people good role models.

  • They can make a difference.

Yes, more young people should make positive impacts in their community, because you are never too young to make a difference in the world. Young people should be out trying to make a difference in the world. They are the future, and they have to live in the world. They might as well start trying to turn it into what they want it to be.

  • Yes They Should

I believe all age groups should try to make more positive impacts in their community. Community involvement is great when it is done in the correct way. I think a lot of American communities try to force this interaction into a church and that's not the way it should be.
