Should national parks be opened up to oil and gas drilling?

  • No responses have been submitted.
  • National parks should not be opened up to oil and gas drilling.

National parks should not be opened up to oil and gas drilling. They are some of the most beautiful and sacred places on earth, and if the government were to open them up to oil and gas drilling, that would just be a horrible injustice to the environment. Drilling ruins the beauty of the land.

  • National Parks Are To Be Preserved

National Parks should not be opened up to oil and gas drilling for any reasons. The whole point of the national park system is to protect fragile environments, therefore drilling would go directly against their original purpose. These parks are suppose to be here for generations to come, they are not worth ruining for a little bit of oil.
