Should Palestine ask the International Criminal Court to prosecute Israeli war crimes?

  • Certainly, that is what the ICC is for.

The ICC was made to protect against injustices. If Palestine, like other places, is being subject to brutality and injustice, then it should go to the ICC about it for protection. It does not mean that the ICC should make unfair decisions or should use the death penalty or something bad like that. The ICC should prevent bad things and Palestine should go to it to stop bad things.

  • Yes They Should

Israel is an aprathiad! Israel does not allow rights to Arabs and they are biased against Non-Jews! They try to destroy Palestine! They bulldoze kill and other horrible things in Palestine! We should destroy Bibi
There needs to be a solution! We need to HAVE PEACE By working together with Israelis and Palestinains

  • Yes, They Should

They should stand up for what they believe in and they should indeed ask the ICC to prosecute Israel for war crimes. With that being said, I doubt the ICC will actually do so. The situation in the Middle East is a contentious one, and as such I doubt the ICC would choose to intervene.

  • Palestine Has Suffered A Lot

The Palestinian people have suffered for years under the Israeli occupation. They have essentially been forced into ghettos and are kept from having adequate food and medical treatment. They should be allowed to bring Israel to justice for these crimes. The ICC should prosecute the Israeli government for the crimes against Palestine.

  • No, Israel should not suffer any consequences.

It is my opinion, absurd to hold Israel accountable for war crimes. Especially from any person involved with Palestine. You cannot pick on a country and expect no retaliation, some where along the line. Israel should have full support on this, including the backing of the United States of America.

I also fail to see where the International Criminal Court has any reason to be involved in these matters.

  • Israel Is Not a Member of the ICC

Israel has publicly stated that they do not consider themselves to be a member of the International Criminal Court and that they do not consider themselves to be a party to the treaties involved. Because of this, the ICC would have little jurisdictional power to bring Israel to court for Palestine. Israel should answer for the wrongdoings, but the ICC might not be the appropriate venue at this time.

  • NO, because it would blow up in their face

Since the Palestinians have committed many acts of terrorism, which are true war crimes, they could be prosecuted as well. In fact, it is not possible to name any Arab countries which could not be prosecuted for war crimes or serious human rights violations. The judges cannot be expected to fair either since many are from third world or Islamic countries.
