Should parents be able to sue their children for not succeeding in college?

  • No responses have been submitted.
  • No that is silly.

Parents should not be able to sue their children for anything let alone not succeeding in college. What if the parent did not even pay for the college? It would literally make no sense. Plus, if the child is not succeeding maybe it is on the parents and not the child.

  • Parents should not sue their children

Parents should not sue their children for failing to succeed in college. This assumes that parents require some return on investing in their child's education, when in fact the vast majority of students are on financial aid. Students are constantly in debt for tuition, housing, food, text books and transportation and undoubtedly unable to afford legal counsel.
