  • Yes, young kids shouldn't be exposed.

The thought of a 10-year-old surfing social media sites concerns me a bit. There's all kinds of content to be found, whether that child is on Facebook, Twitter or some other social media, and I do not believe kids should be exposed and allowed to roam the Internet until they are older. Additionally, there are all kinds of people out there on the Internet and parents who choose to enforce the age restrictions prescribed by social media sites are protecting their children. They're there for a reason and it's important to adhere to those restrictions in order to keep kids safe and away from content that is unsuitable for their current age.

  • No, freedom to receive information - major human rights

Prohibit, restrict - for me it sound like you not respect your child, do not trust, think they are stupid and have to be controlled any moment and any aspect of life- it is humiliated. Yes, we have to teach and explain what is right and what is wrong, and how protect themself. You will not be always with them, forever. Parents must prepare kids to survive, to evaluate world. They learn throughout Internet, they communicate by social media, they are more advance, more smart, more quick thinker than our generation, and this is great. Talk to child, explain reason, listen what they think. Do not be under impression that you are only right, and their opinion not matter. Home- is not prison, and you are not prisoner's guard. It can be your own psychological problem which destroy your relation with your child.

  • Should teenagers be allowed on Facebook? And how many hours do they spend on it?

17 and years older are allowed on Facebook because they are responsible although by saying that there are few children do go on Facebook by the permission of an adult. But all circmantances they should be allowed on Facebook about the age of 17 and would be helpful for the parents to know they are doing. It is fair well they are doing Facebook everyday but it is really tempting like chatting to a friend or posting photos or whatever. Parents is responsible for the children whatever what times they should or should not be on Facebook wheather it is late at night or early in the morning.

  • It is no

It's no different from monitoring the shows they watch. A pretty central part of parenting is monitoring what your children are doing. Kids might not always know or follow various rules for socializing online (such as what they should reveal about themselves to strangers online), so in lieu of hovering over their shoulders the next best thing is to find ways to use restriction settings to limit what they can post or who they can contact. Finding a reliable way to enforce age restrictions and content blocks with tech savvy children is the real problem.
