Should people in the United States have affordable health care?

  • Yes, everybody should have health care that is affordable

Affordable health care is entirely possible, the reason it doesn't happen is insurance companies exist based on how little they help their customers for the money they get out of them. They do not profit if they treat customers well. Insurers and hospitals both have their ways of ensuring everything costs a fortune, if they would act like adults instead of money gouging monsters affordable health care would be more of a reality than the one it still isn't.

  • No, People in the United States should not have affordable health care.

In my opinion, People in the United States should not have affordable health care. Affordable health care is corporate for profit health care and isn't in the peoples best interest nor is it in the best interest of the United States. What the people of the United States need is universal single payer health care on a not for profit basis.
