  • In my opinion I think we should keep pets....

You need to take care of pets for your responsibility and people will kill them for food and furniture. Every little kid wants a pet because they are cute and you can train them to do the right thing. One of the responsibilities are cleaning up after them and needing to feed them.

  • Funny isn't it

A study at Purdue University found that people with Alzheimer’s disease are calmer, focus better on eating, and digest their food more easily when they eat their meals in front of a fish tank.Owning a pet serves as a wonderful way to rediscover a sense of purpose.Studies have shown that forming a relationship with an animal can have important health and psychological benefits

  • Pets add a favor to ife

The vast majority of pets and owners are no risk to anyone. Just because a few nutty people keep unsuitable animals, doesn’t mean keeping pets should be banned. There is a good case for the government stopping people keeping large exotic animals like tigers. Owners could be made to get licenses to keep more dangerous animals. These are sensible steps but a long way from saying no one should keep a pet. In fact, many pets keep people safer. For example, dogs can put off intruders or muggers .The vast majority of pets and owners are no risk to anyone. • We should have a pet

Animals are good we should all love them and even keep them with us .
By doing this we might even save their lives. Kids learn how to adjust with animals and in future if they encounter any animal they will have the experience of staying with them sooo have pets

  • Dramatic sigh.

All you pet lovers don't even think about the pain you're giving to these poor animals. Take puppies, for instance. When you see them in the pet store, you don't see the anguish that you've brought to their mother. Because the puppy is so young, it might not even remember it's mother. Now take snakes. To some people, they're totally cool pets, but if the snake needs a heat lamp, then that means that it's been taken away from it's natural habitat. That's REALLY unfair! Imagine that when you were barely 1 year old, a bunch of kidnappers stole you away from your home, and you never saw your home again. How would that feel? So before you buy a pet, think about how it's family is feeling. ALL PETS BELONG IN THE WILD!

  • Animal slavery perhaps?

Keeping an animal against its will is really no different to incarcerating a person. Whilst it's understandable that people want to be close to, and care for animals, ultimately that suggests ownership of another lifeform which is slavery by any other name. If anyone cares about animals surely it's preferable to help and support them in their natural habitat. They need all the help we can give them due to destroying much of their natural their habitat.

  • A bit too egoistic.

In my opinion, most of the arguments, in favor of keeping pets, are egoistic. It is in all honesty very sweet to have a pet, to feel like you always have somebody around your home. Although, think of this, you have plenty of people around you, but your pet only got you. Incase one misuses the privilege of having an animal, it is very tragic and egoistic. By the way, since when did we, humans, get the right of Keeping a living vein, calling it "one own's".
By all means, there are of course people who save animals from shelters etc. And become animals best friends, but there are people who get pets for their children, without realizing that ANIMALS ARE NOT TOYS. Therefore it really pisses me off to see a tiny, innocent kittens, be dragged in the ears and tail, squeezed and fooled around, by small children.
Also, people who know that they cant keep a pet, just as if they knew that they could not afford to keep a baby, should not have any pets at all.
Especially wild exotic animals, should not be bought, since we take them from the wild, which is the core of our cruelty.
The resent case of animal cruelty occurred two days ago, in Sweden where I live. A man stabbed his second cat in the back, with a kitchen knife. Only because he was tired of his two cat's fighting....

  • People should not have pets

They are usually expensive and many people have allergies to them. Say that your neighbor have a dog. If you get a cat, the dog might come near your house and scare the cat. This might frighten or scare and even injure the kitten. Well, I have a lizard and I am not allowed to get it near my dog. It's really hard cause I usually spend time with the dog.

  • Should keep pets

Because they break our expensive things and dirty our house. When we go travel from one place to another where do we keep our pets. Some pets cause diseases like jaundice etc. In islam they do not keep pets. Some animals wake up at night and disturb us during our sleep.

  • Animals don't have a say who owns them

Keeping animals as pets is strange in my opinion. Subjecting a creature to be removed from it's mother at an early age, removing parts of it's genitalia to modify it's behaviour and sterilise it, feeding it with unnatural foods, suppressing it's natural instincts (cats and dogs are both predatory) are all wrong in my opinion. Domesticated animals are subjected to a life of slavery, and most breeds only exist as a result of program of eugenics.

  • No One Should... Keep Pets...

First of all think about animals, how they would be feeling when you take there freedom. Animal's life is not in a closed area it is remaining free and roam around. For your convenience you keep pets with you. Yeah I know some people give so much love to them and the animals too. But just think that sharing your all thing and passing time with them, Would they also like that? Just think that u live in a society where you are alone human and all others are dogs for eg. So how you will feel? You ever seen that all the animals are there with there groups and when you keep them they are alone. Let them make noise. Let them run. Let them remain with there other fellows. And come on let them reproduce with their choice and as much as they want. Let them live under sun beneath trees. Let them be FREE...

  • Mess is a no

They are just too messy. Look at all the mess they made to my house its just frustrating to look at torn magazines every where. It is not good to own a messy house. I am never going to own another pet again. Noot if they are going to make my house look like a dump

  • So Much Resource Wasted

My primary objection to the keeping of pets is the tremendous amount of resource spent caring for animals, while we have huge human needs all around us that go unsatisfied. People care better for their dogs than they do for their fellow beings. This has resulted in the elevation of animal life to the same value as human life in many people's minds. Crimes against animals seem to draw greater social media outrage than crimes against humanity. Cruelty is never acceptable but there is a natural pecking order. We've all stepped on a spider...
