Should phones be allowed in school for educational uses?

  • Schools use i pads so why not?

Many schools give each student an i pad to use for educational purposes in school. They have school apps and all that on it. If we can have i pads for school, why not phones? On phones we're able to have the same exact apps as the i pads did and the school wouldn't have to pay for i pads. It's a win-win.

  • Yes phnes should be allowed in the classroom

Phones should be allowed in classrooms for eductional purposes like calling home for practice, tutoring,or etc. On a school vote 75% of administrators voted yes to phones in school for educational purposes such as they can download an educational app or to call your partner if he is on a trip for his notes. In conclusion the reasons i just said are why phones should b allowed in school.

  • Hello there person

It can help them with there studies in some cases. It would only be allowed when the teacher allows it and it would only be used to research. It practically does the same thing as a laptop but it is a bit smaller. In short kids should be allowed phones in classes but only when instructed so.

  • Phones should not be allowed in school for educational uses.

Students will never use phones only for educational purposes. Phones today have many distracting features, like cameras, music players, and Internet browsers. If students are allowed to have phones, they will just use them for entertainment. Schools should not let students have phones at all, because the temptation to use them for entertainment is too great.

  • No, phones in a classroom setting are a distraction

If phones are allowed in the classroom they will do little more than act as a distraction to students. The temptation to text message friends, surf social media, or play games will far outweigh educational benefit. Students should be focused on their studies. Other forms of technology have value in the classroom, but phones do not.
