Should pressure be put on children to study if they are good in sports?

  • Pressure should be put on children to study if they are good in sports.

Even if kids are good at sports, they will still need to learn basic academic principals for their futures. Everyone needs to be literate and know the rudiments of math. Even the best athletes need to communicate with others and they need to handle their own personal finances when they grow up.

  • Education comes first

Just because one does good in sports does not mean that they should not study and do good in their academic work. Firstly, academics should come before anything else. Our country fails all too often when comparing to other countries. We need as many smart students as we can get.
