  • The House should stand for religious freedom

America was founded on religious principals, to protect the freedom of religion, and yet we now have case after case of religious freedoms being stripped away, in order to push and anti-reglious agenda. This disgusting practice of shunning religion should be considered treason, as it is denying the very freedoms that our country was founded to guarantee. This practice is essentially un-American. The House should protect religion.

  • No, it is symbolic.

No, religion should not come out of the House, because it is historical to have prayer in the legislature. In the House, saying a prayer before doing business is a good way to remind the legislature that they are not all-powerful, and that they are not above everyone else. Religion is a good way to be polite and remind politicians to respect people and others.
