Should Russia's anti-gay laws be suspended during the Sochi Olympics?

Asked by: chrumbelievable
  • Russia's anti-gay laws should be suspended during the Sochi Olympics.

Russia's anti-gay laws should be suspended during the Sochi Olympics. In fact, I think it should be suspended period. People do not choose to be gay and if you still believe that then you should seek counseling. I think they should create an anti-straight law and see how people respond to that one and then the gays can listen to how it is not a choice to be straight for awhile.

  • No place for hate in the world.

Yes, the anti-gay laws of Russia should be suspended not only during the Olympic Games in Sochi in 2014, but forever. I realize that Russia is just 20+ years away from Communism and the Soviets but this reversion to a medieval level of thinking for a nation that's trying to show the world how modern it is, is just embarrassing.
