  • Athletes should take a drug test

I think athletes should take a dug test so it makes the race fair. Like when someone has been training hard for this race and had the preparation for this race it would be very unfair if someone who is also is taking part in the races cheats and uses drugs to improve there performance

  • Just to show sportsmanship

They should to ensure that everyone is equally competitive and no one enhances their abilities in means of drugs. Also, to educate students on how bad the effect of drugs can be and to avoid or stop them for doing so. This is just a sportsmanship. No personal issues form the athletes themselves.

  • Yes they should have to be tested.

Since most school athletes are being monitored by scholarship people looking to recruit them into their college for their teams, they should be drug tested in order to make sure they do not get an unfair advantage against other school kids try to compete for the same types of scholarships.

  • Yes they should.

School athletes should have to take either random or mandatory drugs tests. This will ensure that the game is fair for all people who are participating and not one sided because people are taking performance enhancing drugs. This will also help out the athletes because they will not be tempted to use drugs.

  • Helps Keep Kids Healthy

With pressure to attend college on athletic scholarships, school athletes should take drug tests simply because kids need to stay healthy and not take steroids. Drugs aren't exactly rampant among high schoolers, but there can be added pressure in athletics when competition is fierce and there could be recruiters watching a kid's every game.

  • The answer is yes, sadly

Because of the rewards performance enhancing drugs have directly resulted in professionally (Peralta) we are forced to make sure that those messages aren't translating to school athletes using them to get an edge. This stuff is not okay and very dangerous when used by somebody that knows not what they do.

  • School athletes should be monitored to prevent cheating in sports.

These days steroids have been an issue in professional and college level sports. Drug tests are a simple way to assure that the playing field is even as well as to prevent illegal activity. Athletes in school may be striving success for a professional career in the future. For someone to be chosen over another because of his use of illegal enhancement drugs is unfair.

  • Yes they should

I think college athletes should have to take a drug test because the should not be able to play sports for there school if the are on drugs also it ruins there young careers so if kids take drugs they should not be able to play all the fun sports

  • School athletes should not have to take drug tests.

School athletes should not have to take drug tests. I think the only time that you test for drugs is when you are looking for something. If there is a problem on the team then sure accuse and then test but to just do random drug testing is a waste of time.

  • Schools Should Not Drug Test

I do not believe schools should invade their students privacy for any reason. I believe that drug testing, for athletes or all students, is an absurd waste of money to our educational system and I believe it would give schools information about students that they don't really need. Students are sent to school to learn not to profiled.
