  • Amen my fellow supporters!

Why shouldn't they? Oh yeah - ya'll complain about "expressing yourselves" and "it's boring." Well guess what? You can express yourself through clothes at the mall with friends, or after school doing homework just as easily as you could if you wore your clothes to school. And really? School uniforms - boring? Hello - school isn't a fashion show! Thirty years from now, it won't matter who wore jeggings or who dated the oh-so-popular Johnny Bob - what will matter is where you end up in life, and who cares if you wear pretty, frillly junk if you're a high school dropout. Besides, you express yourself through your attitude, not your outward appearance. :)

  • School uniforms should be allowed.

I think school uniforms are a good way to keep students to focus on studies. Otherwise, there would be a competition over who dresses better which takes children off the track. Moreover, this might get in the case of bullying because ones clothing might be on a different class. These are the 2 reasons I think school uniforms should be allowed.

  • Yo uniform allowed in schools.. :)

I highly support school uniforms! I'm a junior in high school now, but back then in 7th and 8th grade I opposed it only because I didn't think it was "coo?" And didn't think I could express myself with clothes or show my individuality. I've come to realize that expressing yourself with clothes is a lame excuse and you can always write poetry, write stories, sing, act, draw, dance, or you can simply talk to your peers about your interests to truly express yourself! Also, you can always express yourself out of school, I don't know why people act like school is the only time they go out. And with uniforms, I feel like everybody could finally focus on their school work and not fret on how they look. Image is illusory, actions determine who you actually are. P.S. Almost all of the schools in Japan have school uniforms, yet they are easily recognized as one of the most creative, original, and expressive countries.

  • It should totally be allowed

I think it is a great idea because it does prevent bullying it really does and if people say no it doesn't well they are making a mistake or they never been juged but other kids have. Also it saves you time to do your homework instead of spending time on what you are going to wear

  • School is a place to work and learn , not a fashion show.

There are so many reasons why they should be allowed. Uniform means equality. For the students who don't have enough money to buy trendy clothes isn't a life-saver because in that way they won't be judged be the others. Second the uniform represent the school, it's like a symbol. To sum up I totally agree that uniforms should be allowed

  • It works for us

In my country (Australia) all the schools have uniforms and there are so many positive benefits. It is great for security and staff can quickly see who is supposed to be in the grounds and who is not. It helps the students to feel they belong somewhere and the schools develop a reputation based on their uniforms. It stops people from being judged by what they wear and how much money they have.

  • I totally agree that school uniforms should be allowed

Allowing school uniforms has nothing to do with invasion of students' freedom.
How about school catering services? Do school catering services invade students' right to eat what they want? Absolutely not. School uniforms let students spend more time studying instead of allocating their time to decide what they wear. And also, think about students who can't afford to buy several casual outfits. After all is said and done, school uniforms let students have an equal chance to be estimated or judged by their performance not by their appearances.

  • It doesn't harm anyone's Freedom.

You are not removing their Freedom anymore than if a Job requires a uniform.

If you have to wear a uniform everywhere you go, that's one thing... But we are talking about a few hours every day. This and the fact that you have entire Winter and Summer breaks and the rest of you're day (9-12 hours) to just wear what you want.

No one's removing you're freedom of speech anymore than if you had to wear a job uniform.

  • Vote Yes for uniforms! ;)

School would be way better of without uniforms. For one, students will have more free time to do other more important stuff than choosing what to wear.It would much easier to concentrate on school work without stressing on worrying on people judging you on your clothes. It is easier on school trips to identify your school.

There is no time nowadays to do anything. It takes so long to choose what to wear, especially if you do not want to chose something that may get laughed at.Sometimes it takes so long to shop at a store or mall. Many kids take a long time to chose because they want to follow the latest trend. Many just go for FUN! The National Association of Secondary Principals,"They can concentrate on their school work."Pbs.Org commented,"It helps in the morning and not have to think about what you're going to wear."

Have you ever worried about the bad judgment you are going to receive the next day about your clothes?Maybe you leave for school, and are still choosing what to wear.People can laugh at your favorite new sweater, and end up giving up in it!¨When all students are wearing the same outfit, they are less concerned about how they look and how they fit in,¨noted National Association of Secondary Principals, advised.Bullying and teasing may be revoked, because kids now have another excuse to hurt other people's feelings. If everybody wore the same uniform, then if somebody made fun of somebody' s uniform, then technically, they would also be making fun of themselves."There would be a competition over who dresses better which takes children off the track. Moreover, this might get in the case of bullying because ones clothing might be on a different class,"Debate.Org informed.Maybe you may want to still express yourself through what you wear instead of actually talking to people. Then, you could just add little accessories to your outfit like earrings, bracelets, etc.

Uniforms could help with not dislocating your group.A high school girl in Japan named Maiko Covington quoted on pbs.Org,"Vary in detail from school to school,so you can tell what school people you meet on the street go to."If there were a war going on around your local area, then if you were to all wear uniforms, you could identify the odd man (or woman) out.For example,if you were lingering around your school halls, you could see if someone who doesn't wear your school uniform is a very suspicious. Procon claimed,"When you have students dressed alike, you make them safer. If someone were to come into a building, the intruder could easily be recognized."

Former President Clinton, who quoted,“If it means that the school rooms will be more orderly and more disciplined, and that our young people will learn to evaluate themselves by what they are on the inside, instead of what they’re wearing on the outside, then our public schools should be able to require their students to wear uniforms.” Many of those who have chosen to vote for uniforms, always have a reason to do it. For me,well,it is written all on here, for you to read and state your opinion to everybody else. Do you choose uniforms?

  • Uniforms are WAY to expensive

School uniforms are to expensive. Teachers and the government think families can just spend tones of money on clothes with a stitched on logo that most of the time aren't even good quality. Some people even steal school uniforms because they don't have enough money to buy it their self.

  • Uniforms Are Whack

You Can Express Yourself, Dress Comfortable, and Many More. What Does Gangs or Gang Banging Have To Do With Anything. What About Kids Wanting To Dress Themselves or Because There Religion? Bullying Also Doesn't Have To Do With Uniforms. Let Kids and Students Dress Themselves, Forget About What Other People Have To Say.

  • They provide dis comfort.

They take away kids indiviuality and right of expression. Kids need to be able to express there selves and sometimes what there wearing shows there mood there style. And besides why would your parents buy so much good clothing but you would only get to wear them on weekends and breaks. Kids should have there on freedom!!

  • Who's idea wait wear school uniforms anyway?

School uniforms can make them have a bad self image on themselves. They can feel like they look horrible and be embarrassed to wear their school uniform, which for most the time they have to wear uniforms for many school years to come. You might have probably heard, but school uniforms violate the first amendment of the constitution, which is the freedom of expression. Students should able to wear whatever they want as long as the clothes they wear go along with their dress codes.
