  • Yes. Read my argument!

Alright, you might think its really bad. First off, according to the SSPE, genders build confidence, and increase class participation when around the similar gender. This also prevents separate gender distractions and teacher gender bias. Finally, according to school boards, it is completely optional, and students can withdraw at anytime they want to.

  • It's the 21st century!

The days of discrimination should be over already! If there is single sex anything it is a step back! If you have single sex classes, that is like saying women shouldn't know certain things that men know, and vice versa. If there is any school with single sex classes, it needs to go defunct!

  • We learn most of our social interations in early years from school

No, schools should not have single-sex classes. Children learn most of their social interactions during school. If they are limited to only their own sex, how will they learn how to act around or with the opposite sex. Certain classes may be more fitted to one sex or the other, but it is not necessary for sexes to be separated in classes in this day and age.

  • NO, single sex classes

I think that having single sex classes can make the child close minded to what life has to offer. Such as when they go to work there will be more than just women working at that job. The children need to work with both sex and understand how it is to work with boys and girls.

  • You get to mix with other kids

This is good because you can learn how to team up with other genders. When you are in university or the work force you needs to Know how to mix with opposite gender, if you don't ,this might be hard for some people, so it's to start young so you know hoe to relate to the opposite
    gender.
