Should schools in the tornado belt be required to build tornado shelters?

  • Yes should require tornado shelters

There should be tornado shelters in the tornado belt. Even one life can make a difference and think about how many students are in a whole school. 100% for sure there should be tornado cellars or shelters in the tornado belt. Even the parents, I'm sure you wouldn't want them to suffer cause their child didn't survive the tornado because of the school not having tornado shelters. First it would be the school's fault. You don't want to here about losing friends, family. Children, staff, and teachers because of one thing which was the shelters wasn't really required for the school.

  • Yes they should be required.

Any schools in the tornado belt should have to build tornado shelters. The most important thing is making sure that the students and faculty at the school are safe. While it may cost quite a bit more and hurt the states budget, there should be no price put on the lives of people.

  • Yes they should

They should be required to build shelters to keep the kids safe because they say school is the safest place to be during a tornado but what if your school is really old and a tornado can go throw it really easy all the kids and teachers would be dead a shelter will help keep the kids safe.

Yes, in my school we stay in our class rooms, or go to the hallway or hide under tables. I know for a fact that my school's structure is not strong enough to protect us, we would all almost be dead. We need a storm cellar or shelter to protect us.

Yes because the kids are required to be there even in tornado season. If they were at home and there is a storm shelter at home they would live. But because they are required to be at school, they school should have a storm shelter to keep them safe. For that matter such a shelter might even keep them safe from the nuts that walk in and shoot people.
