Scotland is not awesome.

We would be poor and Alex Salmond would proclaim himself "dictator for life" Next thing you know hes wearing red boots and assembling the Salmond youth, turning to Germany for support and its animal farm all over again. And we will be all like ENGLAND TAKE US BACK I LOVE YOU IM SORRY!!!!! And you know what they will say? They will say you know this big vault of gold? You what its called... it called SUCK IT!

Sorry but I have to ask, where are you getting this information?
Firstly, "we would be poor". Incorrect. Scotland is full of natural resources, many of which are sent to England. Scotland currently receives very little in return because of the union between Scotland and England. These resources include: oil, green energy (wind, wave and hydro), farmland and much more. Scotland supplies England with its wealth. Don't take my word for it, look at the reports. If Scotland gains independance it would become one of the riches countries in Europe.
Second, "Alex Salmond would proclaim himself 'dictator for life'". Incorrect. This seems to be the only arguement that the Together campaign is able to conjure up. Personally I don't like Salmond or all of the SNPs views, but they have been doing a lot for Scotland. Much more that the current "British" goverment has ever done. Salmond is not the one leading the Yes for Independance. He has also said that elections would need to be held to organise the government. Scotland is due general elections as it is in 2016.
So I would very much like to see your sources cause without Scotland, England has no "vault of gold". The "British" government has tried to tell Englishmen and Scots alike that Scotland depends on England. Britain is a union of several countries. So tell me this, why is the "British" government only giving Scotland the option to vote in this referendum. Because they know that if they allowed England the option for a say in whether Scotland should have independance, meaning that England would no longer have to pay to keep the Scots out of debt. They would be putting the barrel of the gun to their heads. They need Scotland for its resources to pay for Englands debt. To be honest, with out Scotland. England is doomed.

Dictator? What a stupid thing to say. Really there is no other word, its plain stupid. Was Margaret Thatcher a DICTATOR? The SNP are an ELECTED, ie, people VOTED for them. Stop being making idiotic statements about dictators, its really quite embarrassing.

Will we see the Salmond dynasty like we have seen in North Korea? Come to think of it, Alex Braveheart Salmond does have alot in common with Kim jong-un...

Dictator for life? What planet are you living on? You forget Scotland goes to the polls in 2016 to elect its first independent government in the event of a yes vote. Any party or parties contesting that election could form the new government.

I'm beginning to think most of these replies are just sarcastic posts by Yes campaigners.

This is a shockingly immature post. It is because there is such a democratic deficit (5 million in Scotland ,14 million in the home counties alone) enables a coalition with one Conservative MP to implement policies such as the 'bedroom Tax'.
It was'nt Alex Salmond who introduced the Terrorism Act 2000 or invaded Iraq that was the 'democratically elected Labour Party remember ? Did you vote for those policies in oold 'democratic Blighty ?

The First Minister is the only leader of anyof the countries in the UK who has a mandate, and an overwhelming one at that, from voters in a free and democratic election. If that makes him a dictator, what does it make Cameron?

Salmond would not necessarily rule Scotland if Independence goes ahead. There will be an election to vote the leader prior to independence in 2016.

Something similar could happen in England if UKIP gained control.

Are you educated in this subject at all? If you vote yes you are not voting for Alex salmond you are voting for Scottish independence. Do you think Alex salmond would want to go down in history for the person who ruined scotland? No so I think you should keep your 'points' on Facebook as your point is clearly UNEDUCATED and irrelevant.
