Should seniors be forced to sell their homes to pay for their long-term care?

  • No They Shouldn't

I do not believe seniors should be forced to sell their homes to pay for their long-term care. It is unfair to force people into selling property to pump it into the over priced health care system. The US needs to enforce price controls and people need to be protected from this industry.

  • No they should not

No, maybe it is not right to go so far as to say they should be forced to sell their homes, but perhaps the government should help pay for the long term care for these senior citizens who have worked hard their whole life and always paid their taxes. The government should be there for them when they need help.

  • Seniors Should Not Be Forced

Senior citizens should definitely not be forced to sell their home. This idea is wrong on so many levels because some citizens can actually afford to live in assisted living homes after they cannot take care of themselves. For example, if a person was forced to sell his or her home, it may cause even more depression and bad feelings. It could lead to something way worse than monetary problems.

  • No they should not

Seniors should not be forced to sell their homes to pay for the long-term care. This is not just right to do here in the United States of America. We have much better principles than this when it comes to the issue of seniors and those that are older. We should treat the seniors better.
