Should South Korea become a world power: Should South Korea be recognized as a global nation?

  • All Nations Should

All nations should strive for global recognition because in general that means that a particular country's economy has stabilized and grown to the point that a large and thriving middle class exists within that country. South Korea is no exception and its standard of living is such that it should be recognized as a global nation.

  • If they want to.

Any country or leader who wishes to become part of the global conversation should be welcome to do so as long as they stick to all the same rules of decency that other global nations try to achieve. Besides, it's a bit sad that North Korea gets so much recognition despite being such a despicable place, South Korea in a sense deserves to be recognized.
