I think that Southern Indiana should be doing more to prevent the spread of HIV in their area. Recent statistics shows that HIV outbreak grows in Indiana and something definitely needs to be done so that the virus doesn't spread even further. The state should be paying attention to this problem, because people's lives might be in danger.
Southern Indiana must be doing more to prevent further spread of HIV. Just recently, another three people tested positive for HIV, bringing the total number of victims to 184. Southern Indiana must make more efforts to spread awareness, whether it be through educational pamphlets, HIV seminars, or HIV prevention/warning broadcasts.
Indiana may not be able to stop the spread of HV but they need to do something to help curb the fast spreading disease. If it is left to its own devices the HIV virus can take on a life of its own and spread dramatically fast. if the health department keeps an eye on the disease they may be able to keep a handle and watch the spread of everything.
Education is free. You can get condoms for free, or choose not to have sex if you know you are infected. You can ask people their history or even make them get tested if they want to sleep with you. The government can't do that for you without violating your rights. If you don't want HIV, protect yourself. Don't expect someone else to do it for you.
