  • Yes, states should accept Medicaid expansion.

    In my opinion states should accept Medicaid expansion because it is the right thing to due for the people in the state and also because it is a financial windfall for the states because failure to expand Medicaid roles in their state doesn't due away with the cost to treat the medical needs of the poor people that will still need care.

  • Medicaid, Medicare Already Tapped Out

    If states accept Medicaid expansion, they will have to devote more state taxpayer resources to the low-income health insurance program. Medicaid is already tapped out as its budget expands every year due to more and more poor people going on the rolls. States shouldn't accept the expansion because it puts a strain on already tenuous state budgets.
